New range of Rum from Château du Breuil.
After distillation and maturation in their original country, all the rums are matured for several months in the cellars of the premium Calvados producer before being bottled. The refining by the Cellar Master is different for each origin.
THE MATURING OF THE CELLAR MASTER
This rum agricole from the French Caribbean island, Marie Galante, has been matured in the cellars of Château du Breuil, staying in oak barrels.
TASTING NOTES
COLOUR: golden
NOSE: a powerful bouquet, with fragrances of fresh sugar cane and kaffir lime. Perceptible notes of exotic fruits (pineapple, guava), spices and vanilla.
FLAVOUR: an explosive attack of sugar cane juice, citrus and ginger, progressively expanding into notes of creole spices, pepper and flowers. The finish is intense and fresh,
delivered by flavours of mocha, vanilla and orange blossom.
