JOSEPH MELLOT Sancerre AOP “La Chatellenie” 2023

HK$345.00

Vineyard of 18 ha. Flint-stone & clay terroir – Silex

A pale gold color with green glints. Intense and complex nose where, among yellow fruits and citrus notes, a superb minerality is expressed. A delicate palate where pear and yellow peach bring their aromatic and juicy side. An elegant salinity extends the mouth in a beautiful balance.

“A juicy, seductive and succulent Sancerre with spiced pears, wild herbs and hints of lemons and stones on the nose. It’s medium-bodied with bright acidity. There is volume on the palate, with a fresh, vertical core and a mineral edge. Lively and driven, with a persistent finish. Drink or hold.” – James Suckling, 93 Points
