This is a new range of Rum from Château du Breuil.
After distillation and maturation in their original country, all the rums are matured for several months in the cellars of the premium Calvados producer before being bottled. The refining by the Cellar Master is different for each origin.
THE MATURING OF THE CELLAR MASTER
This Australian rum has been matured for several months in the cellars of Château du Breuil. To give this rum a more complex aromatic palette and blend its tannins, the cellar master left it to rest in an American oak barrel that had previously contained a cognac-based spirit drink. A full rum with silky tannins.
TASTING NOTES
COLOR: Fawn orange reflection
NOSE: The nose offers woody and vanilla aromas, with notes of cedar, liquorice and caramel.
MOUTH: A floral expression on the iris and notes of licorice, honey, cocoa and cinnamon. Full on the palate, of good length, with silky tannins.
