CERETTO Barolo DOCG “Bricco Rocche” 2019

HK$1,890.00

“Lots of fresh roses and dried strawberries. Full-bodied and powerful with lots of tannins, yet they are fine and polished. Excellent length. A classic Barolo with the structure and beautiful freshness you expect for long term aging. Give it at least five to six years to come together. Try after 2028. – James Suckling, 98 Points

Description
Piedmont
Piedmont

Located, as its name suggests, at the foot of the Alps bordering France and Switzerland, Piedmont is the second largest of Italy’s 20 regions, after Sicily.

Recognized for its industry like Fiat in Turin, Piedmont is also one of the greatest regions in the world in terms of cuisine (don’t forget the white truffles from Alba!) and wine!

With 46 DOC and 4 DOCG, Piedmont has more wine appellations than any other Italian region.

Ceretto

The winery was founded by Riccardo Ceretto in the 1930s.

In 1968, his sons acquired their first proprietary vineyard, Bricco Asili, in Barbaresco.

The third generation entered the business in 1999, with Federico now serving as CEO.

Committed to sustainability, the winery achieved organic certifications for all its wines in 2015.

Presently, the Ceretto family is renowned as one of the premier producers of Barolo and Barbaresco in Piemonte.
