This cuvée is a tribute to the founding fathers of the Estate. It is made with Roussanne grapes, picked the moment that they take on their golden colour, associated with Grenache blanc and Clairette grapes. The Roussanne harvest is fermented in new barrels, and the Grenache and Clairette grapes in vats. This wine is aged for 8 months on fine lees before being blended. It is an opulent wine due to the large proportion of Roussanne, but it also has beautiful freshness thanks to the Clairette. It can be enjoyed between 1 and 8 years after the harvest or even kept for longer by those who appreciate mature wines.

"The 2023 Châteauneuf Du Pape Barberini Blanc brings a touch more richness and depth. It has a great nose of honeyed melon, white flowers, and toasted bread. Medium-bodied, with a layered, elegant mouthfeel, integrated acidity, and a great finish. With a kiss of background oak, it’s a beautifully done, classy white that I’d be thrilled to drink." - Jeb Dunnuck, 95 Points

"Energetic and generous, the nose offers beautiful pear and peach fruit with light salinity and alluring floral notes—signature traits of these wines. The palate reveals fresh toasted almond balancing pure orchard fruit, finishing with delicate sweet baking spice. Well balanced, this wine is enjoyable now but will cellar well through 2032+." - Wine Enthusiast, 95 Points & #74 The 2025 Top 100 Cellar Selection

Grape: 65% Roussanne, 25% Clairette, 10% Grenache Blanc.

A tribute to the family ancestor Paul Martin, who was one of the first French winemakers to sell his wine in bottles in the 18th century under the name "Vin de la Solitude".
Made according to the 18th-century vinique art with very different blends where Grenache is not dominant. The wine consists of a large number of co-fermented grapes with much longer macerations than those made today.

"The 2022 Châteauneuf Du Pape Vin De La Solitude has a medium-bodied, elegant, and silky profile. It offers remarkable complexity with savory red fruits, pressed flowers, savory garrigue, and spicy nuances. The balance is superb, and it has fine, building tannins with a great finish. This cuvée is all about complexity and elegance over power." - Jeb Dunnuck, 95 Points

"Forget the world and fly into this incredibly concentrated and subtle recreation of a Chateauneuf from two centuries ago. A cornucopia of gingerbread, dried cherries, bitter chocolate and wild herbs on the nose. The quality of the tannins is as unique as the aromas. Endless layers of flavor in the super-refined finish. From biodynamically grown grapes with Demeter certification. Drink or hold." - James Suckling, 99 Points

Grape: Grenache noir 25%, Serine (old name, similar to Syrah) 22%, Counoise 20%, Mourvèdre 20%, Cinsault 7%, Clairette blanche 3%, Clairette rose 2%, Bourboulenc-Roussanne-Picpoul 1%

A selection of old vines of Grenache, Mourvèdre and Syrah. The Grenache grapes come from the oldest vineyard of the Domaine, planted at the beginning of the last century. This terroir gives the Barberini fine tannins and aromatic profile.

"The Barberini cuvée is slightly more modern in style, and the 2022 Châteauneuf Du Pape Barberini is no exception. It has a Provençal, complex, elegant style with red and black fruits, sappy spring flowers, spice, and garrigue notes. Despite being aged in new barrels, the oak is flawlessly integrated. Medium to full-bodied with polished tannins and a great finish, this wine is best enjoyed over the next 10-15 years." - Jeb Dunnuck, 95 Points

"A rich and deeply structured Chateauneuf-du-Pape that’s expansive on the full-bodied palate. Enveloping mulberry and licorice aromas. Deep and suave tannins anchor this, and there’s freshness that keeps this animating through the very long, complete finish." - James Suckling, 96 Points

Grape: 50% Grenache, 35% Mourvèdre, 15% Syrah

" Shavings of cedar, blood orange, crushed cherries, dried flowers and stone dust form a mesmerizing bouquet as the 2019 Rosso di Montalcino slowly opens in the glass. There are depths of ripe textural fruits here, offset by zesty spices and bright acidity that sweeten the expression while energizing it as well. A web of fine tannins coats the palate through the finish, coupled with a core of primary concentration and sweet inner florals that seem to never truly fade. What a glorious achievement from Poggio di Sotto. The 2019 spent a whopping 43 days macerating on the skins, followed by 29 months of refinement in cask. It’s undoubtedly a baby Brunello." - Vinous, 95 Points

"Now, it's time to taste history! Extremely aromatic for a Chateauneuf with extraordinary flint, spiced bread and bitter chocolate aromas. The interplay of richness and freshness is extraordinary, and the way the crisp tannins lift the concentrated and powerful palate is no less remarkable. A cuvee that recreates the pre-phylloxera situation. The grapes are co-fermented, but completely unstemmed (whole cluster) and macerated for about three months. From organically grown grapes. Drinkable now, but best from 2025." - James Suckling, 97 Points

Grape: Counoise 24%, Grenache noir 22%, Syrah 20%, Mourvèdre 19%, Cinsault 7%, Clairette blanche & rose 5%, Bourboulenc 1%, Roussanne 1%, Picpoul 1%

La Solitude belongs to one of the oldest families of Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Their history goes back to the XVth century. From generation to generation, the Estate is still a family affair and is now run by Florent Lançon.
La Solitude stretches over 37 hectares of the best terroirs in Châteauneuf-du-Pape. The domain begins on “La Crau”, high terraces of the Rhône and then descends into the valley of la Solitude. It is a patchwork of terroirs ranging from sandy soils (safres) to clay and pebbles (galets roulés). Thirteen different grape varieties are cultivated there!
The vineyard has been practising organic viticulture for a long time and will be officially certified from 2021 vintage and biodynamic from 2022.

Rhône

One of the demanded red wine regions in France is the Rhône, a valley that starts due south of Lyon and continues along the Rhône River until Provence.

Due to its notable length, it has varying soils, expositions, micro-climates and varieties. The north is home to appellations such as Hermitage, Crozes-Hermitage, St-Joseph, Cornas and features Syrah as its sole red grape. Its whites include Marsanne, Roussanne and Viognier.

In its southern half of the Rhône, the wines are notably different. The vineyards are hotter, flatter and composed of different soils and varieties, such as Grenache, Mourvèdre, Cinsault and Carignan as well as the ubiquitous Syrah. The resulting wines such as Châteauneuf du Pape, are rich and robust with lots of character and warmth.

Domaine de La Solitude

The wine comes from the historic “Dal Re” (“from the King”), vineyard in deep soil originally from ash due to its proximity to Mt. Vesuvius.
A very intense red wine, aged in oak barrels and barriques for 18 months. The bouquet is rich and exuberant, of red fruits, balsamic herbs and sweet spices.

"More elegant than the Taurasi, with awesome notes of black cherries, currants, toasted spices, and hints of barrique, the 2011 Serpico is full-bodied, beautifully concentrated and layered, with both freshness and richness. This is a beautifully ripe, layered and elegant wine that shines on all accounts. This cuvee comes from a single vineyard of ungrafted Aglianico and should continue drinking beautifully for at least another decade." - Jeb Dunnuck, 95 Points

Grape: 100% Aglianico

Campania

Campania is highly recognized by the tourists from all over the world, with the amazing attractions of Amalfi Coast, Mount Vesuvius and Capri island.
There’s also a food scene to be discovered. From pizza-loving Naples to fresh fruits, vegetables and cheeses in the countryside.
The wines of Campania were originally intended as food-friendly table wines but things changed a few decades ago.
The very local white, Greco di Tufo and Fiano di Avellino both have their own DOCGs. The red Aglianico, with deep dark cherry flavors, savory spices and leathery goodness, got its DOCG as Taurasi.

Feudi di San Gregorio was established in 1986 in Sorbo Serpico, a tiny village in Campania’s Irpinia region.

One of the region’s greatest producers, Feudi di San Gregorio, carries its reputation as one of Italy’s most innovative wineries.

Feudi held fast to the local heritage and continued to cultivate native varieties like white Greco, Fiano, Falanghina and red Aglianico.

Today, the pride of their production is the Irpinia Aglianico DOC “Serpico”, a powerful red made from an historical “vineyard of the King”.
