BERTANI’s impact on Veneto wine making, particularly in Amarone production, is so considerable that ‘Bertani‘ and ‘Amarone’ are nearly synonymous.

The winery was founded in 1857 by the brothers Giovan Battista and Gaetano Bertani, in Quinto di Valpantena, north of Verona.
