\nThe very local white, Greco di Tufo and Fiano di Avellino both have their own DOCGs. Feudi di San Gregorio was established in 1986 in Sorbo Serpico, a tiny village in Campania\u2019s Irpinia region, near Mount Vesuvius.
\nOne of the region\u2019s greatest producers, Feudi di San Gregorio, carries its well-earned reputation as one of Italy\u2019s most innovative wineries.
\nWhen many producers in Italy uprooted old vines in favour of international grape varieties, Feudi held fast to the local heritage and continued to cultivate native varieties like white Greco di Tufo, Fiano di Avellino, Falanghina and red Aglianico.

The wine comes from the historic \u201cDal Re\u201d (\u201cfrom the King\u201d), vineyard in deep soil originally from ash due to its proximity to Mt. Vesuvius.
\nA very intense red wine, aged in oak barrels and barriques for 18 months. The bouquet is rich and exuberant, of red fruits, balsamic herbs and sweet spices.<\/p>\n
