From the Arabic term “Son of the Wind” because the wind sweeps constantly around the grape clusters on Pantelleria.
Rich bouquet with outstanding aromas obtained from the dried grapes: apricots and candied orange peel.

Maybe the best sweet wine from Italy?

"A coppery brown color makes the nose of tangerine, apricot, lemon curd and honey somewhat of a surprise. The palate is consistent, with more apricots, honey and Cara Cara oranges, but also keeps you guessing with a crumble of candied pecans. A decadent, delightful wine." - Wine Enthusiast, 94 Points

"Exotic yet remarkably fresh, the 2023 Ben Ryé bursts from the glass with a seductive blend of white raisins, minty herbs, poached peaches and tropical citrus. It is weighty, rich and harmonious throughout, coming across as sweet but not cloyingly so. Ultra-ripe pit fruit combines with candied lemon and a crisp mineral tinge that adds form toward the close. Dramatically long, the 2023 leaves a resonance of sour melon and an air of confectionary spice while cleaning up well, leaving the palate completely refreshed." - Vinous, 94+ Points

Grape: 100% Zibibbo (Muscat of Alexandria)

Braida has been created in 1961 by Giacomo Bologna. He has been recognized as the first winemaker to raise the quality from a traditional table Barbera to a fine wine.

In 1982, Braida launched Bricco dell’ Uccellone, a “Super Barbera”.

The wines were aged in small, French oak barrels in order to compensate for Barbera’s lack of tannins. The result was a deeply flavourful, complex wine out of a variety normally considered to be an acidic filler.

Very unique wine in the region. Thanks to the alternation of high humidity and drier airflows, at fairly low temperatures, the grapes are attacked by Botrytis Cinerea in its most ‘noble’ form. This gives the wine complexity and rare flavours and aromas.

"Light savory spice from botrytis blends with a bright, ripe-citrus and light apricot fruit character. Medium- to full-bodied with a refreshing, medium-sweet palate and a fresh, lemony finish. Lovely balance to this versatile wine." - James Suckling, 92 Points

Grape: 100% Sauvignon Blanc

Located in central Italy, the region enjoys a very varied landscape going from mountains through hills to beautiful beaches, towering cliffs and clear blue waters.

Marche is best known as a white wine region, although it is also home to some reds of very high quality.

It has been the territory of the Verdicchio grape for more than 600 years. The wines are characterized by lively acidity and subtle herbaceous

Among the red wines of Marche, the finest are generally made from the Montepulciano grape and/or Sangiovese. The best DOCG is the intensely fragrant Rosso Conero Riserva.
