Vodka

AKAYANE Premium Vodka is made by slowly breaking down local Kagoshima sweet potatoes to convert its starches into sugar, without use rice koji.

The sugar is slowly fermented at a low temperature to create a mash, which is then distilled in a directly-heated Charentais still.

The spirit is then filtered through white birch charcoal.

Made with 39 botanicals, including wormwood and star anise.

The medicinal term “kusushiki” means mysterious or strange, and fits the image of absinthe as a mysterious spirit that has captured the attention of artists and writers across cultures.

The bottles have also been adapted from medicine bottles to prevent harmful UV ways from affecting the spirit.

Absinthe is an anise-flavored spirit derived from several plants

It is including the flowers and leaves of Artemisia absinthium (“grand wormwood”), together with green anise, sweet fennel, and other medicinal and culinary herbs.

Absinthe traditionally has a natural green color but may also be colorless.

It is commonly referred to in historical literature as “the green fairy”. While sometimes casually referred to as a liqueur, absinthe is not traditionally bottled with sugar or sweeteners.
