The gentle slope of the hills of Montefalco gave the name of the wine, Collepiano. Aged 22 months in French oak barrique, a wine full of power and finesse.

"Aromas of dark cherries and red plums with dried herbs, spices, bark and nutmeg on the nose. Medium- to full-bodied, dry and a little chewy with firm, chalky tannins and juicy dark fruit. Layered and structured." - James Suckling, 92 Points

"Deep, dark ruby with slight brightening on the rim. Elegant and powerful aromas of plum compote, black pepper, coffee and a subtle hint of sealing wax. On the palate, punchy and precise with well-integrated acidity, rich tannins, builds up into a persistent and savoury finish." - Falstaff, 93 Points

Grape: 100% Sagrantino

Made with 100% Barbera grapes grown in estate-owned vineyards in Rocchetta Tanaro. La bigotta was a pious woman who lived next to the vineyard. She was much more concerned with the rules and appearances of religion than the spirit behind it. Braida added the spirit!

"Rich, smoky nose of ripe dark berries, chocolate, ground cloves and hints of cedar. Full-bodied and intense on the palate, with succulent fruit and a spiced, nutty character. It has a rather old-school character, though it shows harmony with good concentration and length. Drink or hold." - James Suckling, 91 Points

"Dark, intense ruby red with a slightly lighter rim. Very ripe aromas of red fruits such as cherry and plum as well as spicy notes of liquorice and vanilla with a hint of cedar on the nose. Very full-bodied on the palate, round and with ripe fruit and undergrowth, very long finish." - Falstaff, 94 Points

Braida has been created in 1961 by Giacomo Bologna. He has been recognized as the first winemaker to raise the quality from a traditional table Barbera to a fine wine.

In 1982, Braida launched Bricco dell’ Uccellone, a “Super Barbera”.

The wines were aged in small, French oak barrels in order to compensate for Barbera’s lack of tannins. The result was a deeply flavourful, complex wine out of a variety normally considered to be an acidic filler.

1.3 ha Single Vineyard on Sancerre Hilltop with a Flint-stone & clay terroir - Silex

Complex nose of white peach and guava accompanied by an assertive minerality. A wine that's both fat and chiseled, with an imposing precision. Flinty minerality leads the way, with harmonious fruitiness. A hint of salinity subtly enhances the intense, precise finish.

"A delicious, juicy and balanced Sancerre with aromas of apples, warm herbs, raw almonds and some flowers. Medium-bodied with fresh acidity. Well rounded, velvety and vivid. Drink or hold." - James Suckling, 92 Points

“This is a solid Sancerre. Pale lemon in color, the floral-forward wine is a glass full of sliced red apple dusted with honeysuckle blossom. It displays concentration on the palate along with a lingering finish that flirts with bread dough. Pair with garlic naan, spring rolls or roasted cod. Editor’s Choice.” – Wine Enthusiast, 93 Points

Champagne wine was first produced within its three main towns – Reims, its largest and home to the Montagne de Reims, famed for its Pinot Noir; Epernay, the capital of the Côte des Blancs, the area most renowned for its Chardonnay; and Ay, the town situated on the border of both the Montagne de Reims and the Côte des Blancs.
