"The Salcheto 2024 Rosso is a lovely wine with class, aromatics and plenty of flavor. A blend of 85% Sangiovese, 8% Canaiolo and 7% Merlot, all organically farmed, it invites you to dive in thanks to aroma of wild strawberry, crunchy red cherry and star anise. The aromas follow over to the bright, easy-drinking palate along with bitter orange. Glossy tannins lend supple support." - Kerin O'Keefe, 91 Points

Established in 1983 by Giacomo Rallo, the winery is now led by José and Antonio.

Donnafugata boasts vineyards in Contessa Entellina, nestled in the heart of western Sicily, as well as on Pantelleria island, situated between Sicily and Africa.

The 2016 harvest marked a milestone for Donnafugata, fulfilling the aspiration to produce wines in eastern Sicily with the distinguished Etna, Cerasuolo, and Frappato di Vittoria appellations.

The name Donnafugata, meaning ‘lady in flight,’ originates from the novel ‘Il Gattopardo’ and alludes to the tale of a queen who sought sanctuary in what are now the company’s vineyards, a narrative that also inspired the company’s logo.

A fresh and informal Grillo with a youthful spirit, SurSur is characterized by a fragrant bouquet of white fleshed fruit combined with pleasant floral nuances.

"The 2024 Grillo Sur Sur seduces with a blend of candied lime, green melon, mint and chalk dust. Round and smooth, it reveals a hint of sour citrus that provides balance, while ripe orchard fruit further soothes the senses. Pleasantly sweet, it tapers perfumed with admirable length, allowing nuances of kiwi and spice to slowly fade away. An absolute pleasure." - Vinous, 91 Points

→ the bottles are manufactured in Sicily (Marsala) with 90% of recycled glass.
- Nomacorc Ocean Closure: the world’s first closure using recycled ocean-bound plastic to reduce marine plastic waste.
- SOStain Certification

"Exotic from the first tilt of the glass, the 2024 Zibibbo Lighea bursts with a blend of kiwi and tropical melon complemented by minty herbs and a spritz of lime. Zesty and energetic, it offers ripe green melon and spices propelled by juicy acidity, while a subtle tinge of crisp minerality adds a lovely crunch toward the close. The finish is savory, with cheek-puckering tension and citrusy concentration that calls the taster back for more." - Vinous, 91 Points

Deep ruby red in colour with a purple hue.

On the nose, the wine radiates intense aromas of red and black fruits such as blackberry and plum, with floral lily notes and subtle spicy nuances.

Medium-bodied, juicy and fresh on the palate, with elegant, rounded tannins and a pure, fruit-accentuated final.

Made from 100% Montepulciano, organically grown on sandy-clayey, chalky soils in Abruzzo. Accessible, very charming and uncomplicated - a wine full of character for every day that combines origin and sustainability.
