The nose expresses intense blackberry notes and a multitude of black fruits. The palate is delicious, with black fruit notes still very much present. Violet and undergrowth notes appear mid-palate, complemented by pretty, juicy tannins. The finish is spicy, with a touch of black olive.

"Here is a juicy and mellow red that shows notes of wild berries, dark cherries, dried herbs and baking spices. It’s medium-bodied with velvety tannins and texture. Round and delicious. " - James Suckling, 90 Points

Grape: 66% Syrah, 17% Mourvèdre, 17% Marselan

Pretty color with deep purple tinted. Medium intensity. Notes of black fruits and kirsch cherry. Animalistic touch which disappears with aeration in favor of notes of white pepper.

Aging notes rather well integrated. Juicy attack. Very fruity heart with fairly present acidity in balance.

After 1 day of opening: More intense and more elegant nose (more animal notes and better integrated wood). The mouth has also gained in balance.

Grape: 100% Syrah.

"The 2023 Riesling Midelberg is the village wine from Mittelbergheim and offers a fine, fresh and mineral Muschelkalk bouquet intertwined with delicate and ripe fruit aromas.

From the Grand Cru area known as “Zotzenberg” situated in the commune of Mittelbergheim, facing southeast. It is composed of limestone that retains water and is drought resistant.

"The 2022 Riesling Zotzenberg Grand Cru is pale and shy on the nose, offering only a touch of Reine Claude framed with citrus. The soils are heavy and retain water. Notions of moss and citrus play on the fresh nose. The palate brings that same cool freshness, a clarity that seems like a cool mountain spring, light, flowing, barely-there, tingling with brightness. It's lovely, clear, bright and spring-like" - Vinous, 95 Points

Grape: 100% Riesling

"Quite a restrained and cool style of pinot gris. Hard to believe that this has 14% alcohol, thanks to the delicacy and freshness. An interesting tannin structure somehow manages to make this feel sleeker than it really is. Long, citrusy finish with just a touch of creamy sweetness. Excellent aging potential. From organically grown grapes. Drink or hold." - James Suckling, 93 Points
