Much of Italy’s Pinot grigio hails from the Veneto, where the crisp and refreshing style is easy to maintain.</p>

<p>Carpenè Malvolti was founded in 1868, following the desire of Antonio Carpenè to make sparkling wines and distillates using grapes coming exclusively from the hills of Conegliano e Valdobbiadene.<br />
It was the first winery in Italy to produce Prosecco type as a sparkling wine. And in 1924, Carpenè Malvolti created the first label reporting the name Prosecco or more precisely “Prosecco Amabile dei Colli di Conegliano”.<br />
Nowadays, the winery, managed by the 6th generation of the family, is still located in Conegliano, in the Province of Treviso &#8211; in the heart of the Prosecco D.O.C.G. area and site of the first Wine School in Italy founded in 1876 by Antonio Carpenè.</p>
