25 Anni is the result of research and careful clonal selection of Sagrantino’s best grapes. This jubilee wine was produced for the first time in 1993 to celebrate the winery’s 25th anniversary. Aged 24 months in French oak barrique.

"Balsamic spice mingles with cocoa and mentholated herbs as the dark and brooding 2020 Montefalco Sagrantino 25 Anni slowly awakens in the glass. It is youthfully dense and velvety and flows across the palate like melted chocolate, with ripe wild berries contrasted by tangible minerals and spices. Its acidity provides fantastic balance, while the 2020 leaves a layer of sweet tannins and primary fruit flavours that finish long and pleasantly chewy. This is a much more approachable vintage, but no less complex." - Vinous, 95+ Points

"The nose is dominated by graphite, with restrained notes of wild blackberry, meat, balsamic and aromatic herbs. The attack is supple, with a full body, youthful fruit character and muscular but very fine tannins that combine with a refreshing acidity and a polished tobacco aftertaste. It needs another year or two of ageing to integrate the oak, but it will last for decades." - James Suckling, 96 Points

Grape: 100% Sagrantino

"The nose is intense and deeply layered, where scorched earth and iodine weave through overripe brambly fruit and truffle. The palate is harmonious, unfolding fresh blackberry, violet, garrigue, sage, and a dusting of cocoa powder. A granitic minerality defines the finish, softened by gentle acidity. Accessible now with decanting, this should be natural match for roasted or braised meats" - Wine Enthusiast, 93 Points

"A blend of 80% Syrah and 20% Grenache, fermented in concrete and then aged equally in concrete, demi-muids, and barrels, the Ventoux Quintessence 2022 seems to be one of the best examples I have tasted of this cuvée. On the nose, impressive aromas of blueberries are accompanied by raspberries and a touch of black olive, while the palate is full-bodied, richly concentrated and supple, with notes of licorice and mint on a long, velvety finish." - Wine Advocate, 94 Points

One of the three red single vineyards at Château Pesquié, Artemia Rouge is a purple color. The wine has an aromatic nose, with notes of violet flower, licorice, spices and fresh blackberry. On the palate, there is a velvety texture, aromas of strawberry, raspberry, graphite and violet flower, with a long and slightly peppery finish.

"A heady bouquet of rose petal lays over black cherry, clove, black tea leaf, and warm stone. The palate offers levity, with an acidic cut that enlivens its floral core. Fine herbs add depth to the midpalate and trails into a long, gentle, stony finish. Focused yet elegant, this is an approachable expression with undeniable grace. Editors' Choice" - Wine Enthusiast, 94 Points

"A blend of 80% Syrah and 20% Grenache, the 2022 Ventoux Artemia reflects what family member Fred Chaudière calls "a more northern expression of Syrah." Scents of menthol, pepper, violets and blueberries appear on the nose, while the medium to full-bodied palate is silky, focused and elegant, with a softly dusty finish. It should drink well for a decade or more." - Wine Advocate, 94 Points

Vineyard planted in 1910 at the Mendoza River south bank in the region of Perdriel (Lujan de Cuyo). Distinguished by its smoothing features and finely meshed texture. It is elegant and aromatic with an endless finish and a juicy acidity that stands out.

"Really ripe and opulent but deep and complex on the nose with an undertone of blackberries, tar, balsam and a hint of figs. Naturally concentrated, flavorful, super silky and plush, but there is nice freshness on the palate. Extremely long and hedonistic. I’d rate it even higher were there a tad more freshness on the nose. Drink or hold." - James Suckling, 95 Points

Created with Giacomo Tachis, the "father" of Super Tuscan wines like Sassicaia, Tignanello or Solaia.

"The 2020 Mille e Una Notte opens with a basket of berries and spices, further complicated by shavings of cedar and minty herbs. It's silky yet sincere, with tart wild berry fruits and licorice underscored by saline minerals as a balsamic resonance forms toward the close. The 2020 finishes structured and long. Fine-tannins saturate the senses as savory herbs and hints of tart blackberry fade. Bury this deep in the cellar." - Vinous, 94 Points

"One of Sicily's most beloved reds, the Donnafugata 2020 Sicilia Mille e Una Notte is Nero d'Avola with Petit Verdot, Syrah and a few other local grapes. This barrique-aged red offers lots of fruit weight and a full-bodied approach with dark fruit, dried blackberry, spice and sweet tobacco. This vintage offers especially supple tannins and lasting richness." - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate, 94 Points

According to legend, it was Dionysus (Bacchus) who brought pleasure to mankind, and wine to Sicily.
In the past, Sicily was famous for its Marsala and cheap bulk wines. Over the last 30 years, however, Sicily’s wine culture has changed dramatically and is now considered as one of the best regions.
The Sicilian has the largest vineyard in all of Italy. It is three times the size of the vineyard in New Zealand, larger than vineyard in South Africa and equivalent to the vineyard in Germany.

A tribute to the family ancestor Paul Martin, who was one of the first French winemakers to sell his wine in bottles in the 18th century under the name "Vin de la Solitude".
Made according to the 18th-century vinique art with very different blends where Grenache is not dominant. The wine consists of a large number of co-fermented grapes with much longer macerations than those made today.

"The 2022 Châteauneuf Du Pape Vin De La Solitude has a medium-bodied, elegant, and silky profile. It offers remarkable complexity with savory red fruits, pressed flowers, savory garrigue, and spicy nuances. The balance is superb, and it has fine, building tannins with a great finish. This cuvée is all about complexity and elegance over power." - Jeb Dunnuck, 95 Points

"Forget the world and fly into this incredibly concentrated and subtle recreation of a Chateauneuf from two centuries ago. A cornucopia of gingerbread, dried cherries, bitter chocolate and wild herbs on the nose. The quality of the tannins is as unique as the aromas. Endless layers of flavor in the super-refined finish. From biodynamically grown grapes with Demeter certification. Drink or hold." - James Suckling, 99 Points

Grape: Grenache noir 25%, Serine (old name, similar to Syrah) 22%, Counoise 20%, Mourvèdre 20%, Cinsault 7%, Clairette blanche 3%, Clairette rose 2%, Bourboulenc-Roussanne-Picpoul 1%

La Solitude belongs to one of the oldest families of Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Their history goes back to the XVth century. From generation to generation, the Estate is still a family affair and is now run by Florent Lançon.
La Solitude stretches over 37 hectares of the best terroirs in Châteauneuf-du-Pape. The domain begins on “La Crau”, high terraces of the Rhône and then descends into the valley of la Solitude. It is a patchwork of terroirs ranging from sandy soils (safres) to clay and pebbles (galets roulés). Thirteen different grape varieties are cultivated there!
The vineyard has been practising organic viticulture for a long time and will be officially certified from 2021 vintage and biodynamic from 2022.

From 2 high-density estate vineyards in Borgonato, the hillslope Quindicipiò vineyard and Brolo, with its view of Palazzo Lana Berlucchi.

The cuvée is assembled with the highest-quality base wines, all 100% of the same growing year. The wine re-ferments and matures sur lie in the bottle for a minimum of 10 years, followed by a further 6 months after disgorging. Extra Brut Dosage.

"The 2011 Franciacorta Riserva Palazzo Lana Extrême Extra Brut from Guido Berlucchi has a thick layer of creamy peach or apricot that goes beyond the bouquet and ultimately colours the palate richly. These fruits are framed by small hints of exotic spices, cinnamon and caraway. The acidity is lively and the wine finishes on a dry note with a slight effervescence. This is certainly a delicious sparkling food wine." - Wine Advocate, 94 Points

"Complex notes of grapefruit, fresh figs, lemons, green apples, walnuts, chalk and salted nuts. It is lively and racy, with a medium body and broad, creamy bubbles. Excellent flavour intensity and persistence with a dry and nutty finish." - James Suckling, 93 Points

Berlucchi

Berlucchi is the history of the classic Italian sparkling wine and Franciacorta.

“What if we make a French-style sparkling wine?” This was the question that young oenologist Franco Ziliani asked Guido Berlucchi at the end of the 1950s.

Guido Berlucchi liked the idea to use his not too stable white wine.

After a few experiments, almost 3,000 bottles arrived in 1961. “We’ll be drinking them for the next 20 years!” Fortunately, he was wrong.

Berlucchi has received many awards like “Winery of the Year” by Gambero Rosso in 2022.

The vines are old and have been organically grown for 50 years, which has allowed the roots to grow exceptionally deep.

They were one of the first converts to organic and biodynamic farming in Châteauneuf-du-Pape, which they adopted in 1950 and 1974 respectively.

"Extremely perfumed and pleasant on the nose with hibiscus, cherry blossom, orange peel and watermelon aromas that follow through to a medium body with very fine tannins with such lovely length. Beautiful. Very silky and fine. Exquisite. Drinkable but much better in three or four years." - James Suckling, 94 Points

Piedmont

Located, as its name suggests, at the foot of the Alps bordering France and Switzerland, Piedmont is the second largest of Italy’s 20 regions, after Sicily.

Recognized for its industry like Fiat in Turin, Piedmont is also one of the greatest regions in the world in terms of cuisine (don’t forget the white truffles from Alba!) and wine!

With 42 DOC and 17 DOCG, Piedmont has more wine appellations than any other Italian region.

The most recognized grape variety is Nebbiolo named exactly for the arrival of this pre-harvest fog (called “nebbia” in Italian), which prolongs cluster hang time and allows full phenolic balance and ripeness. This grape is responsible for the exalted Piedmont wines of Barbaresco and Barolo, known for their ageability, firm tannins and hallmark aromas of tar and roses. Nebbiolo wines, despite their pale hue, pack a pleasing punch of flavor and structure. Barbaresco tends to be more elegant in style while Barolo is more powerful. Across the Tanaro River, the Roero region, and farther north, the regions of Gattinara and Ghemme, also produce excellent quality Nebbiolo.

Barbera is the most planted grape in Piedmont, beloved for its trademark high acidity, low tannin and juicy red fruit. Dolcetto, Piedmont’s other important red grape, is usually ready within a couple of years of release.

Marchesi di Gresy

Tenute Cisa Asinari dei Marchesi di Grésy has been owned by the di Grésy family since 1797.
In the early 1970s Alberto di Grésy realized the potential of his vineyard and decided that he had to vinify his own grapes. In 1973 he produced his first vintage with the objective of transferring the class and character of the terroir, vineyards and varietal into the bottle.
Marchesi di Grésy only vinifies grapes coming from its properties, 45 hectares of vineyards divided among the Martinenga, Monte Aribaldo, La Serra and Monte Colombo estates.
Located between Asili and Rabaja, the Martinenga cru is 100% owned by di Gresy family. The vineyard is the only Langhe single owned “monopole”.
